Friends,

Many of you have asked me who I support and have endorsed for the upcoming republican Primaries.

Further below is a list of candidates and incumbents that I support and ask you to support also. However, before I share those with you I want you to know that there are several Republican incumbents who worked against the passage of SB1070. If you go to www.azleg.gov and watch the archived video and listen to the vote in both the House and Senate you will hear some very telling things about certain Republicans who did not support the passage of SB1070 but voted for it only because they knew if they didn’t you would have voted them out of office. Now those same members are campaigning saying that they were a sponsor of the bill and they were a supporter of SB1070 all through the bill’s legislative process. So with that said, if you don’t see a Republican incumbent’s name on this list then you may want to do a little research of your own.

Greetings,

I am hosting several events at the State Capitol and I need your help. I need you to attend as many of these events as you can and if possible, volunteer. Here is the schedule of events:

July 30th Friday evening I will be holding a memorial service for all those have been killed by an illegal alien and maimed. The service will be officiated by Rev. Wayne Perryman and Maricopa County Sherriff Chaplin Jim Remington. This will start at 7 PM on the Senate Lawn. This is NOT a rally so please leave your signs and flags at home. We will have seating for 500 people so please come early to get a parking space and a good seat.

May 112010

I have been vigilant in the defense of freedom and our Constitutional principles at the legislature as well as my entire life. I have worked as a Maricopa County Deputy for 23 years and I am the former Chief Deputy. I have been shot at and missed and shot at and hit, as I was critically shot by gang members while in the line of duty while serving our community. I created “tent” city for inmates and saved millions in the cost for the taxpayer. I have worked as the Director of the Motor Vehicle Department and reduced Government waist and long wait times at MVD, and cut administrative cost by $10 million. I served as your Judge in the North Mesa Justice Court, as pro-tem Judge in Maricopa County’s court system and I have ruled on cases being mindful to make sure each ruling was based on the Founders original intent from Arizona Constitution, the law and the US Constitution.

I have worked to protect private property rights, protect the unborn, 2nd Amendment freedoms, quality education including school choice, safer neighborhoods, parental rights, tort reform, taxpayers bill of rights, and including sponsoring some of the most comprehensive immigration enforcement bills in the nation and 2nd Amendment issues such as the Freedom to Carry legislation, as well as the elimination of all Affirmative Action policies in government hiring and contracts. www.russellpearce.com

For 10 years now, I have served the people at the state legislature. 8 years with the State House of Representatives and for the last 2 years as a Senator. I am the current Chairman of the Senator Appropriations Committee and served 6 years as the Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee. As your Appropriations Chairman my motto is; “I am the gate keeper, not the gift giver of the people’s money”.

It is now election time and I am running for re-election for my 2nd term as State Senator and I really need and would be very grateful to have your help!

I need volunteers to help me collect signatures to put my name on the ballot for this next primary election, August 24th. I must turn in all the collected signatures by May 26th. That is only 15 days from now. I really need your help in getting those signatures. If you can and are willing to help me, please respond.

I have petitions forms ready to go. Please reply to this e-mail letting me know that you are ready and willing to help. The opportune time would be May 18th to work just a couple of hours at one of the polling places in LD18. If that does not work any week night or Saturday for a couple of hours walking the neighborhood would be great. Thank you so much.

For Arizona,

Russell

MESSAGE FROM SEN. RUSSELL PEARCE

Dear Friends,

SB1070 is the most comprehensive enforcement bill in the nation, it will remove all “illegal” sanctuary policies that exist in many of our cities, and it will allow law enforcement to enforce our immigration laws as intended. I guarantee this will save American jobs, reduce the cost of government, improve neighborhood safety, improve congestion, move toward smaller classrooms, shorter lines in emergency rooms, reduce rapes and molestations and reduce the number of deaths and maiming of our citizens and more. Please note that Phoenix has had a more than 50% reduction in homicides this year over last, after we passed employer sanctions and other illegal alien legislation, and our illegal alien population has decreased by twice the national average in the past two years. SB1070 will add a “trespass” provision to law enforcement giving them the ability to hold an illegal alien under state law if need be or to just call ICE and turn them over to ICE. This provision will allow our law enforcement folks to complete investigations on a suspect and not allow them to be deported before the investigation can be completed. It also goes after illegal employers and illegal aliens soliciting work and provides for law enforcement to more easily enforce public safety issues on busy streets.

MESSAGE FROM SEN. RUSSELL PEARCE

Date: 3-21-10

REG: TUESDAY VOTE ON HB 2632 AND SB1070

Let us all support our Home Town Heroes in the protection of our neighborhoods and the enforcement of our laws. Let’s get the handcuffs off from them now!!! Friends we must act now,

HB2632/SB1070 immigration; law enforcement; safe neighborhoods “SUPPORT OUR LAW ENFORCEMENT AND SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD ACT” will be Third Read on Tuesday 1:30PM in the House. Both bills are being heard at the same time. This process is very unique process. HB2632/SB1070 are exactly the same bill. Every word, every sentence, and every punctuation is exactly the same. SB1070 was passed out of the senate and sent to the house. The house version HB2632 is going to be heard in COW (Committee of the Whole) on Tuesday at 1:30PM when HB2632 is passed out of COW the house will not third read it, but instead will third read SB1070. This is a procedure that is used to help get legislation to the governor’s desk quickly. Please sign in at Life Liberty Freedom www.lifelibertyfreedom.com and let the House members know you support both HB2632/SB1070.

Mar 192010

Greetings Everyone,

Senator Pearce asked me to give a quick update on some bills.

HB2632 immigration; law enforcement; safe neighborhoods will be 3rd read on Tuesday, March 23rd at around 1:30 PM.  I know there has been some confusion on the bills status but House Speaker Kirk Adams has promised Senator Pearce that it will be heard and voted on. If HB2632 is passed it will be joined with SB1070.  SB1070 immigration; law enforcement; safe neighborhoods has the same exact language as HB2632.  SB1070 and was passed by the Senate on February 25th.  If HB2632 passes the House and since both of these bills are exactly the same, they can be joined and sent directly to the Governor for her signature.

Senator Pearce also wanted me to pass along his appreciation to House Speaker Adams for his efforts in getting the bill moved through the house. If you get a chance, please send a nice letter to Speaker Adams thanking him for getting this bill heard. Is e-mail address is kadams@azleg.gov

Also send an e-mail or call the House members and ask them to vote yes on HB2632 immigration; law enforcement; safe neighborhoods.

On another note: Obama Healthcare.

Many of you have been asking the Senator about the Obama Healthcare Bill and is there anything we can do about it. YES! State Representative Judy Burges has a bill called HB2001 taxpayer voluntary contribution; fund. This bill was passed out of the house and sent to the senate. Representative Burges is going to do a “strike everything” to that bill, HB2001 and add the text from the IDAHO HEALTH FREEDOM ACT that was passed and signed by their Governor.

HB2001 has passed first read in the Senate and is going to the Finance committee, chaired by Senator Jack Harper, who has stated that he will allow the bill to be heard in committee this coming Wednesday the 23rd. Please call or e-mail the Finance committee asking them to support HB2001. The Finance Committee meets at 1:30PM.

HB2632 did not pass COW (Committee of the Whole) today in the house! It appears that an open boarders person named Ernest Hancock mass emailed the House Legislators claiming that HB2632 is a backdoor to the Real ID ACT. This is a blatant lie and voting has been postponed to a date to be determined most likely next week but maybe as soon as tomorrow 3/18/10. The fact of the matter is that the Real ID ACT was nullified by Arizona wich joined more that 20 states in 2007.  This whole email campaign was just short of a domestic terrorist act.

We will keep you informed to any changes in the status of HB2632.

Letter from Senator Russel Pearce on 3/18/10

Fw: HB2632/SB1070 a good bill a must pass to stop the billions in cost, to save American jobs, to stop the killings and maimings of our citizens, etc.

Thank you Kevin, this is what I just sent out.

My Dear friends and family,

Mar 152010

Last week we asked you to contact the Governor of Arizonain regards to legislation aimed at reducing illegal immigration Thank you for your help

Here is an update:
HB 2632, if it were to become law, will put Arizona in the leadership role for all of America to follow when combating illegal immigration We anticipate this bill being brought to the House floor Tues, Wed , or Thur and need to assure there are enough Republican votes to pass it and then send it to the Governor Assuming this bill passes, we will be asking you to AGAIN, contact the Governor, and ask her to sign into law this bill.

In the mean time, we ask that you e-mail the House Republicans and simply type in the subject line YES on HB 2632, and hit send Emails for the Arizona House Republicans can be found here

To recap, the bill will:

  • Create an additional state crime of trespassing and gives law enforcement the authority to arrest someone if they have probable cause to believe they are in the country illegally;
  • Give  local law enforcement the opportunity to prioritize immigration enforcement over other public safety responsibilities when applicable;
  • Prohibits drivers from attempting t o hire day laborers (illegal aliens) for the purpose of employment;
  • Criminalizes transporting, harboring or shielding anyone if the person knows or disregards the fact that they are illegal aliens;
  • Gives law enforcement more tools to help enforce our state employer sanctionslaw.

What can you do?

Contact the Arizona House Republican members here,

Thank you for your help.

Subject: PLEASE … IMPORTANT EVERYONE CALL AND E-MAIL ALL HOUSE MEMBERS BY MONDAY: I need you to call the House to make sure HB2632 passes with 31 Republican votes. Make sure we moved this critical legislation to the Governor quickly.

We are at a critical time. Our bill HB2632 will be up for vote in the House Monday or Tuesday.  Tom Boone’s bill will also be up as part of the budget negotiations.  Rep. Tom Boone’s bill has an “intent” clause in it that makes it completely unenforceable. You cannot litigate “intent”.  A city can and will restrict how and when you can ask by policy and will hide behind their “intent” clause to stop law enforcement from enforcing the law, by this feel good legislation of Rep. Boones.  NOTHING WILL CHANGE UNDER THAT BILL. Do not let folks get away with saying they voted for taking the handcuffs off from law enforcement and removing sanctuary policies when actually they will have changed nothing except a cleverly written bill that sounds good, but allows the sanctuary cities continue as they are today.  I am hoping that PLEA members, APA members, FOP members, Sheriffs, our Republican Party officials who all endorsed this bill will call and make their voices heard loud and clear.  I have been promised by Speaker Adams and House leadership to help get this to bill to the Governor.   It should been up at her desk over a month ago.  Let’s make this last strong effort and then let the Governor know how strong the support is for this legislation!!!!!   This is the most comprehensive enforcement bill in the nation and that is why their is so much pressure by the far left to make sure it does not get passed.  The nation is watching Arizona once again as we lead the way as a Sovereign Republic to uphold the rule of law.

Here are some of the comments made to the Phoenix council on 3-2-10 by PLEA in getting them to endorse my bill, they refused because they do not want to give police the authority to enforce the law. They intend to continue to be a sanctuary city.   They voted to oppose our immigration legislation.  DiCiccio and Gates were the only two that supported your efforts.

REMEMBER YOU CAN USE:  www.lifelibertyfreedom.com to contact your legislators.
The Arizona Chamber, the Phoenix Chamber and the Farm Bureau have peresonally told me they were ok with it.  East Valley Chamber has supported this kind of legislation in the past and I assume still do, as do many other Arizona chambers and businesses. About 70% to 80% of the public continue to support enforcement and secure border efforts.

+++  *****  +++

“If it be asked, what is the most sacred duty and the greatest source of our security in a Republic? The answer would be an inviolable respect for the Constitution and Laws” — Alexander Hamilton.

“This country has lost control of its borders. And no country can sustain that kind of position.” – President Ronald Reagan

We are a nation of laws. We must have the courage – the fortitude – to enforce, with compassion but without apology, those laws that protect the integrity of our borders and the rights of our lawful citizens.

2/15/10 SB1070 passed out of the Senate with 17 votes (along party lines). As you can see our list of supporters continues to grow.  The voting public (citizens) continues to overwhelmingly support this legislation.  Arizona Police Association representing thousands of Police officers, along with many other law enforcement groups (boots on the ground) have endorsed this legislation, along with 9 of our 15 Sheriff’s, citizens groups, political organizations, Unions, and many others have all joined us to end all policies that restrict law enforcement from enforcing our immigration laws and in fact specifically endorsed “Support Our Law Enforcement and Safe Neighborhood Act”.

End Arizona’s “Catch & Release” policies.

If you really want lower taxes, less crime, less congestion, lower health insurance, not to mention saving American jobs.  With a 26 year high in unemployment, along with record foreclosures it is about time we demand American jobs be saved for Americans.  Then Enforce Our Laws.

This bill will go the House where it will be exchanged for Rep. David Gowan’s identical bill HB2632 and then go to the Governor, where I expect her to sign this legislation.  This will be the most comprehensive immigration enforcement legislation in the nation.

We need to contact every single legislator and encourage them to support this legislation SB1070/HB2632. You can use www.LifeLibertyFreedom.com to contact all the Legislators at once.

“SUPPORT OUR LAW ENFORCEMENT AND SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD ACT” SB1070/HB2632

1. Illegal Sanctuary Policies: Eliminate ALL sanctuary cities in this state and allow law enforcement to enforce our laws.  No more “Catch & Release” policies that virtually require an additional crime, an additional victim before our laws can be enforced.

2. Trespass: Makes entering or remaining in Arizona in violation of federal law a state crime and “allows” law enforcement to arrest them on trespass violation or just call ICE and turn them over to ICE (law enforcement’s choice).  If they need to, this new law allows them to hold those that are being investigated for serious crimes and prevent them from being deported before the investigation is completed and appropriate charges filed.

3. Day Laborer Enforcement:  Makes it illegal for an illegal alien to solicit work (day laborers) and makes it a misdemeanor for anyone with a business license to do business in Arizona to pick up any day laborer without filling out a employment application.  Makes it a state crime to aid, harbor, conceal transport or attempt to aid, harbor, conceal or transport an illegal alien for work with a mandatory impoundment of their vehicle under 28-3511 for 30 days.  Also adds a mandatory $1000 fine per illegal alien being transported.

Closing our borders is a must; however it must be coupled with interior enforcement.  Attrition by enforcement.  It is time to renew our efforts to end ALL sanctuary policies in our states and our nation: Require officials to fully enforce federal immigration laws of the United States. NO MORE TAXPAYER BENEFITS, No Amnesty, No retreat, No surrender.  We will take back America one state at a time.   It starts here!!!!!

Current Federal Law: Illegal entry is a crime:

•         8 USC Sec. 1325:   (ILLEGAL ENTRY)
•         8 USC Sec. 1324:   (Hiring an ILLEGAL)
•         8 USC Sec. 1644:   (”No local ordinance, rule, or measure shall stop law enforcement officers from enforcement of this section”)  ”Any person who knowingly hires/harbors/transports any illegal alien is guilty of a felony punishable by:
•         10 years in prison
•         $2000 fine per illegal alien
•         Forfeiture of the vehicle or property used to commit the crime.”

“All officers whose duty it is to enforce criminal laws shall have authority to make arrests for a violation of any provision of this section” (affirmed US v Perez-Gonzalez 2002 Fed App 0360, 6th Circ.).

“We Don’t Need No ‘Stinkin’ 287g;” Local Law Enforcements Has Inherent Authority to Enforce Immigration Law:

Today we will take the “political handcuffs off from our law enforcement officers;” the only reasons our immigration laws are not enforced are Political, not a lack of Authority.

We the legal and lawful citizens demand the enforcement of our laws.

Enforcement not Reform is what is needed.

I know it is strictly political and I believe constitutes malfeasance of office on the part of our local law enforcement agencies to ignore those in this country “illegally”.

Not only do they have the authority we have the moral obligation.  This “illegal” invasion is one of the greatest threats to America (neighborhoods) facing us today.  Why would we gnore the damage, the violence, the economic destruction to this nation and to our citizens.

Why would we not use the most effective laws we have to protect our neighborhoods is beyond me? Public Safety is our #1 job!!!    It was intended and has always been a partnership in enforcing our laws and protecting our communities.  Once they cross the border it is no longer JUST a federal issue, It is OUR citizens, it is OUR Healthcare system, it is OUR educational system, it is OUR criminal justice system, it is OUR jobs being taken, it is OUR welfare system, IT IS OUR TAX DOLLARS AND OUR NEIGHBORHOODS!! It is the LAW and we must enforce it.

•         9,000 are killed “each” year at the hands of illegal aliens.  25 each day, 12 by stabbings and shootings and 13 by DUI and related crimes. This is from Congressional Homeland Security Report. (4 to 10 million illegals crossed into the U.S. last year alone)

Death and maimings of police officers and citizens in Arizona by illegal aliens

  • Phoenix Officer Shane Figueroa (killed)
  • Phoenix Officer Nick Erfle (Murdered)
  • Phoenix Office Glidewell (shot in chest)
  • Child serial rapist in Chandler
  • 15 year old raped in Scottsdale by school janitor
  • 15 year old kidnapped and raped in Guadalupe
  • Phoenix Officer Marc Atkinson (murdered)
  • Phoenix Officer Robert Sitek (murdered)
  • Kris Eggle-park ranger in southern Arizona (murdered)
  • Border Patrol Agent James Epling (murdered)
  • Deputy Sean Pearce (shot by homicide suspects)
  • Deputy Lew Argetsinger (shot my homicide suspects)
  • Sgt. Manuel H. Tapia was shot by a drug suspect
  • DPS Officer Robert K. Martin, 57, was shot to death – his assailant, Ernesto Salgado Martinez, a 19-year-old ex-convict
  • Agent Richard Fass, 37, of the United States Drug Enforcement Agency, murdered
  • Agent Alexander Kirpnick, 27, Border Patrol, murdered
  • Jason Schechterle suffered fourth-degree burns when his patrol care went up in flames after being struck by a taxi – the driver was an illegal alien.
  • Gilbert mother killed by illegal alien fleeing from police in Mesa
  • Jason, Decorated Iraq war veteran stabbed in his own front yard by illegal alien
  • Mother “legal immigrant” killed by illegal alien trying to ram Sheriff’s Deputy’s car in Phoenix
  • Tracy “17 year old” killed by drunk illegal alien

Study: 1 million sex crimes by illegals More than 100 sex predators crossing border daily

Deborah Schurman-Kauflin: Based on a one-year in-depth study, a researcher estimates there are about 240,000 illegal immigrant sex offenders in the United States who have had an average of four victims each.

Deborah Schurman-Kauflin of the
Violent Crimes Institute in Atlanta analyzed 1,500 cases from January 1999 through April 2006 that included serial rapes, serial murders, sexual homicides and child molestation committed by illegal immigrants.

Most offenders were in states with the highest numbers of illegal immigrants. California had the most offenders, followed by Texas, Arizona, New Jersey, New York and Florida.

The burden of blind-eye police department policies and open-border philosophies were paid for with the lives of not only our police officers throughout our state. The danger clearly spread beyond law enforcement into our communities with more lives being lost. The quality of life in our state is being sacrificed for political correctness; let’s continue the Tea Party Express to take back our country from those who continue to ignore the damage to this nation.

Russell

Friends,

Freedom isn’t Free!!!!

It is becoming more apparent every day that vigilance is paramount to protecting the freedoms and liberty’s established by our Founding Fathers from an over reaching and burdensome and tyrannical government. Educating our selves in the activities of Federal Government is our personal responsibility. It is also our personal responsibility to inform others of activities that Federal government is involved in that are not enumerated in the Constitution, and activities that violate the constitution, and the authority and sovereignty of the States.

It is because of this responsibility that I share with you a video I just recently viewed. It is a 7 min video by Judge Napolitano that is very disturbing and I am asking you to view this video and share it

with everyone you know.
