For County Chairman, Rob Haney is running
Rob Haney throws his hat in the ring following two years of outstanding accomplishments:
It has been my honor to serve as your Maricopa County Chairman these past two years. I am running for reelection and ask for your vote on Jan 8, since the job of implementing the grassroots conservative message remains ongoing. My political ideology has not changed since 1964 when as a student at Penn State I backed Barry Goldwater for president.
Unity in the Republican Party must be based upon support of Constitutional and Republican Platform principles of limited government or we become but a wing of the Democrat Party.
As precinct committeemen (PCs), we do not lose our first amendment right to free speech in advocating for or against political policies. This is especially true when a policy proposed by a Republican Representative is clearly in opposition to the Constitution and is opposed by the majority of Republicans.
During the last two years while I served as your Chairman we have:
Dear Political Activists:
I have attached a letter and BIO in reference to my reelection as Maricopa County Republican Committee Chairman on January 8.
As I see it, the most significant difference between my opponent and me is that I believe, as precinct committeemen and officers in the Republican Party, that we not only have the freedom to speak to policy issues but the responsibility and obligation to do so. This is especially true when we believe the policy would do serious harm to the Party and Country. Witness what is going on in Congress right now.

Tries to kick social conservatives out of Tea Party
Liberal Republican Paula Pennypacker
Paula Pennypacker, who was soundly trounced in the LD8 race for the House of Representatives this year by the more conservative Tea Party candidate Michelle Ugenti, has decided to take out her rage on conservatives. In an astonishingly rude blog post for the Arizona Republic, she bashes Senator Russell Pearce and Maricopa County Republican Chairman Rob Haney, complaining about an LD8 meeting where her hateful views against social conservatives weren’t warmly accepted.

Constitutional Conservatives Now In All Leadership Positions In Arizona’s Legislative District 6 and Pinal County and in 4 of the 5 Positions in Legislative District 17
You may know that I argue that if we conservatives want to change the Republican Party, we need to become members of it – in other words, get inside it. That means becoming precinct committeemen.
LD 6
On Nov. 18, in Arizona’s Legislative District 6, in Deer Valley, constitutional conservatives elected a full slate of constitutional conservatives to the officer slots of the LD 6 Republican Party committee – tossing out RINOs in the process. Two of the new conservative officers are tea partiers I personally recruited to become PCs in 2009 at tea parties. Not only did these conservatives band together and elect new officers, they also had a slate of 69 constitutional conservatives for the 69 allotted state committeemen the LD gets to send to the annual state GOP meeting where the state officers are elected. (Each LD gets to send one state committeemen to the state annual meeting for every three elected PCs in the District.) All 69 constitutional conservatives won.
You’re probably wondering why I am sending you this bit o’ history. Well, when our “Friends” (McCain, Kyl, sadly Shadegg) have friends like these then whose friends are they, really…
These same people TRIED to kick out our current leadership, the bad news; they did un-elect Randy Pullen and Rob Haney as a State Committeemen. The GOOD news is that Rob Haney CAN continue on as Maricopa GOP Chairman IF we make sure to re-elect him at the county meeting.
Using my meager analytical capabilities, it looks like the Wendt’s are STILL trying to disrupt Republican politics all over the country by funding RINO’s and people they think might disrupt our elections, although it looks like they made a couple miscalculations:

And we wonder why, the political landscape looks and feels so strange….
Democrats Contributed Heavily to McCain’s Efforts in District 11 Election
The Sonoran Alliance reported today that Democrats contributed a significant share of the funding for Sen. McCain’s unsuccessful effort to seize control of GOP Legislative District 11.
