Here’s President Obama speaking at a Democratic rally in Bridgereport — and unable to deal with liberal hecklers or even control the rally (the heckling starts about two minutes in):
Obama could take a lesson on handling hecklers from Ronald Reagan, shown here at a rally the day before the 1980 presidential election:
Ballots being mailed illegally, forged ballot requests, felons and illegals registering to vote and pressure on county employees by ACORN like groups. Chicago? Nope. Yuma, Arizona.
The Arizona Republican Party has uncovered direct evidence that Mi Familia Vota, Border Action, and Faith.Hope.Vote! who have direct ties to SEIU are attempting to influence the elections in Yuma County through fraudulent means. In the last 48 hours before the Permanent Early Voter List (PEVL) registration deadline of Friday, October 22nd, these organizations submitted 1,328 PEVL requests and then pressured the Yuma Recorder’s Office to process them by Monday.
Seems a bit of a contradiction, to have your husband serving as one of the state’s officers while you sue the state? Not to mention the radical positions espoused by La Raza do not represent the majority of Arizonans, who support SB1070.
Funny, Democrat candidate for Treasurer Andrei Cherny is trying to sound like he is a Republican concerned about securing the border in his race for State Treasurer. But his wife is working for one of the most radical left wing pro-open borders special interest group in the country, the National Council of La Raza. Here is the front page of a brief she filed as their attorney in the lawsuit against Arizona over SB1070. Her name is listed as one four attorneys on the top left side.
As the Author of SB1070 I will be attending the hearing at the 9th Circuit Court when SB1070 is argued before the 9th. This is a battle of Epic Portion on the Rule of Law, States Rights and the will of the people versus those who advocate for a lawless society and ignore the damage to America; the cost in billions of dollars ($2.7 billion annually in Arizona to educate, medicate and incarcerate illegal aliens), the jobs taken from Americans, crime wave across America and the assault on this Republic and certainly assault on the Sovereign state of Arizona and its right to protect its citizens.
How long will it be before we will be just like Mexico? We have already lost our language; everything must be printed in Spanish. We have already lost our history since it is no longer taught in our schools. And we have lost our borders.
The leftist media has distorted what SB 1070 will do. The ACLU, cheap labor advocates and the leftist courts will do everything to protect those who are here illegally, but it was an effort to try and stop illegal’s from setting up businesses, and employment, and receiving state services and give the ability to local law enforcement when there is probable cause, such as a traffic stop to determine if they are here legally. Federal law is very clear if you are here on a visa you must have your papers on you at all times. That is the law. In Arizona all you need to show you as a legal citizen is a driver license, MVD identification card, Native American Card, or a Military ID. This is what you need to vote, get a hunting license, etc… So nothing new has been added to this law. No one is going to be stopped walking down the street. The leftists here and in DC are angry because we dare try and do something. They want the “Transformation” to continue.

The federal appeals panel that will hear Arizona defend its sweeping law against illegal immigrants Monday consists of two Hispanics, one of them an immigrant, and a Republican appointee who often sides with immigrants in federal disputes.
The judges chosen randomly to hear Arizona’s appeal to the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco are John Noonan, an appointee of Ronald Reagan and a moderate; Richard Paez, a Bill Clinton appointee and the son of Mexican immigrants; and Carlos Bea, an appointee of George W. Bush who was born in Spain and was once ordered deported from the United States. He appealed and won.
“These are three judges who I think are pretty much in the judicial mainstream,” said UC Berkeley constitutional law professor Jesse Choper. He predicted that Arizona would have a “relatively steep, uphill battle” because the federal government is given “exclusive power for immigration and naturalization.”
The 9th Circuit and even the U.S. Supreme Court would probably be swayed by the federal government’s contention that the Arizona law “improperly interferes with federal foreign policy,” he said. “Mexico is very upset about this law.”
Press Release
Ruling fails to consider concerns of a Sheriff on the front lines of the the border security issue
A federal judge has sidelined a critical voice in the legal debate over SB1070. Judge Susan Bolton has denied Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever’s Motion to Intervene in support of this critical legislation.Sheriff Dever, who is on the front lines when it comes to border security, insists law enforcement should have a say on the Obama Justice Department lawsuit challenging SB1070.
The Rose Law Group in conjunction with BorderSheriffs.com filed a Motion to Intervene. The premise is that the law enforcement community, in addition to government interests, ought to have its perspective heard by the court; because at its heart, illegal immigration and border security are law enforcement issues. On October 28, 2010, Judge Susan Bolton denied our request.
Sheriff Dever stated, “I had hoped to contribute to the efforts of our Governor to defend SB1070 in court. My goal is to provide the additional insight only law enforcement can give in this critical debate. It is the people in my county who pay a steep price. Afraid to leave their homes at night as drug and human smugglers cross their land, the citizens of my county saw SB1070 as a ray of hope to end this nightmare. It is regrettable that the federal court believes law enforcement and the people of Cochise County have nothing to add to this debate. We wonder if the federal court will scrutinize the interests of liberal activist groups and intervening foreign nations under the same microscope.”
According to an advisory issued this week by Secretary of State Ken Bennett, the Arizona Republican Party added more than 12,000 voters between the end of July and the latest report, giving the state GOP 1,131,802 active, registered members.
The state Democrat Party grew by nearly 1,700 members, with the party now claiming 1,002,937 active, registered voters. The state Libertarian Party added 239 registered voters, giving it 24,382 in Arizona, and the Green Party added 235 of its own. As of the latest report, the Arizona Green Party had 4,820 active, registered voters.
In all, including the nearly 29,000 who registered without declaring a party preference, that translates to 43,542 Arizonans who have joined the voter rolls since the end of July – with more than 3.14 million voters now registered for state’s General Election. Check out the complete report here.
Welcome to all of the newly energized voters who will exercise their constitutional rights this coming Tuesday, November 2 – if they haven’t already done so by early ballot. How fortunate we Americans are!
Hat Tip: Seeing Red AZ
Federal observers and officials from the U.S. Department of Justice will monitor polls at Maricopa, Apache and Navajo counties, the department announced today.
Officials will monitor polls to see whether voters are discriminated against based on race or ethnicity, whether jurisdictions are complying with the National Voting Rights Act’s minority language provisions and whether voters who have disabilities or are unable to read or write receive assistance.
The announcement comes at the heels of rumors of voter-registration fraud circulating online. On Wednesday, Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett said allegations of rampant fraudulent voter registrations being submitted to Yuma County are groundless.
