Editor’s Note:  Jim Bourassa has verified that he is the author of the article below regarding pro-illegal immigration demonstrators/protestors disrupting a Vietnam Remembrance Day Ceremony in Wesley Bolin Park on April 25, 2010.

You have my permission to circulate it. I added my name under the article. Thanks guys for keeping this on the front burner. I know the folks across our country that I am in touch with daily are applauding us here in AZ.  They are all saying it is about time. Thanks for taking the lead. Respectfully, Jim Bourassa

Pro-Illegal Immigration Demonstrators Disrupt

Vietnam Remembrance Day Ceremony

NO you will not see that in the headlines on the 26th. But I was there today April 25th 2010.

I attended our 16th Annual Vietnam Remembrance Day Ceremony at Wesley Bolin Plaza in front of our AZ State Capitol with other Vietnam Vets from many American Legion Posts and VFW – including speakers and the US Army Band playing American patriotic songs.

I felt proud being there to not only honor our fallen and those Vet’s in attendance, but my father for his part during the Vietnam War as a RPG River Boat Captain of the RIV.DIV.554.

During our ceremony a vehicle slowed down off in the distance – doing what I am calling a “Drive-by Shouting” – for lack of better words.

During a quiet part of the event he yelled out some obscenities in “Span-glish” and in closing said- “You SUCK” as his parting words. Then he sheepishly floors the accelerator and speeds off in his vehicle.

Overall, Prop. 100 is about a basic fact of life. Can you live within your means or not?

Of course here we are talking about our State of Arizona. It is one thing to spend heavily when times are fat and your income is increasing. It is quite another to pare back and live within your income when times are lean. Prop. 100 is the third road—-increasing taxes when things are lean. You cannot do that for your family. Why let the State do it? Shouldn’t we all tighten our belts when things are tough?

Since the Hollyweird/MSM establishment isn’t about to reflect what’s really going on in this country, patriots are taking up cameras and microphones and doing it themselves. Countermoonbats don’t have the system behind them like Michael Moore et al., but movies like Tea Party still manage to get the message out:

Jeremy Hoop made this contribution to the soundtrack:

A corrupt liberal elite that despises this country has presumed to speak for it for too long. People are finding their own voices now.

Thanks to Moonbattery.

California’s biggest export lately seems to be hypocrisy.

The state of California has gotten a little holier than thou lately, but they forgot to look at themselves in the mirror first.

While California government is busy cancelling contracts with Arizona and Californians are busily boycotting us, they need to also find a place other than California to spend their money.

The Wall Street Journal characterizes the inability of incumbent Robert Bennett to secure the GOP nomination for the Utah Senate seat as “an early, if imperfect, test of the tea-party movement’s power … The remaining candidates, businessman Tim Bridgewater and lawyer Mike Lee, will compete in a June 22 primary. Running on populist platforms, they both have backing from tea-party supporters and have pledged to reduce the federal government’s size if elected.”

Many delegates, who tend to be more ideological than the average GOP voter, said they felt Mr. Bennett had been in Washington for too long. Populist candidates criticized the senator for trying to increase the scope of government by voting for TARP to provide funds to rescue strapped banks and by co-authoring a health-care plan with a Democratic colleague that included a requirement that individuals buy insurance for themselves.

Mr. Bennett lost his nomination despite his efforts earlier in the day. He had 2008 GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, one of Utah’s most-popular figures, introduce him before a speech to state delegates. The senator told delegates that his seniority in Washington made him the best candidate to represent Utah. “I understand how to do it,” he said. “Don’t take a chance on a newcomer. Keep the veteran on the floor when you’re playing a championship game.”

That still wasn’t enough to woo delegates such as Carol Jeppson.
