After a press conference at which Sens. Levin and Lieberman announced what they are calling the Military Readiness Enhancement Act of 2010, Levin told CNSNews.com he did not know whether the bill would legalize bisexual behavior in the military and that CNSNews.com should ask Sen. Lieberman to find out if it did. Levin also said he would “have to give a lot more thought to it” to decide whether in fact he supported legalizing homosexual and bisexual behavior in the military.
Sen. Lieberman told CNSNews.com that the proposal Levin was joining him in sponsoring would indeed legalize both homosexual and bisexual behavior in the military.

Senate Armed Services Chairman Carl Levin (D.-Mich.) did not know that a bill he is co-sponsoring with Sen. Joe Lieberman (I.-Conn.) to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation in the military would also legalize both homosexual and bisexual activity among military personnel.
